When I'm sick, and having trouble focusing on work or school, I've found it very soothing to sew. It helps with the frustration and boredom of not being able to do anything useful. So, last week I finished a corset I cut out in January, which required hand stitching the seam allowances down to the inside on the top and bottom, and hand slip-stitching the lining around three sides. Ordinarily tedious, but it was nice to do last week.



Now, to catch up on the assignments I've missed. Fortunarly, I just talked to Ryan and found out that even though I missed the extended 3-hour quantum field theory course on Thursday, they only got up to the vector meson stuff that I'd prepared to be ready for my presentation on Tuesday. So I only have the group theory assignment and research to get a handle on for Monday.
